The Ombudsman discusses the problems of people in Hodoš, opens three more Ombudsman Corners in Prekmurje
Today, 17 April 2024, the Ombudsman Peter Svetina opened his office in Hodoš. He spoke to 4 people who assessed that their rights have been violated and that the Ombudsman can help them to claim them. The focus was on social issues and the still topical issue of chimney sweeping.
The Ombudsman notes that people often do not find themselves in a plethora of regulations, nor in everyday life, and therefore they turn to the Ombudsman with their problems. Peter Svetina, the Ombudsman, stresses that the authorities are at the service of the citizens and must therefore help them and respond to their letters in a timely manner.
During his visit to Prekmurje, the Ombudsman opened three more Ombudsman's Corners and spoke with the Mayor of Puconec, Uroš Kamenšek, the Mayor of Hodoš, Denis Tamašek, and the Mayor of Šalovec, Iztok Fartek.
