The Human Rights Ombudsman, Dr Zdenka Čebašek–Travnik, took part in the 7th Conference of the Pomurje Academic Scientific Union (PAZU), held in Murska Sobota on 27-28 November.
The participants at the conference focused this year on the question of how Pomurje knowledge contributes to faster development of the region and what effect the quality of education has on Pomurje; the Ombudsman presented her views on whether poorer pupil achievements in individual regions indicates a violation of human rights.
