The Slovenian Human Rights Ombudsman, Zdenka Čebašek-Travnik, takes the view that the statement made by Ivo Godnič in the morning broadcast on TV Slovenia was inconsiderate and highly inappropriate, while also containing elements of public incitement to hatred and intolerance, as well as elements of disdain for, and mockery and diminution of the meaning of serious criminal offences against humanity. The HRO expects that the author will apologise to the viewers for the words said, or explain them.
