On 31 January 2008, the Human Rights Ombudsman Dr Zdenka Čebašek-Travnik had a working lunch with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Louise Arbour.

The Ombudsman and the Commissioner discussed various topics in the field of rights protection, among other things they also talked about the “Erased”. The Ombudsman also presented the Commissioner the work of the Human Rights Ombudsman in the Republic of Slovenia in the field of monitoring the conditions in prisons and other closed-type institutions.
