According to an agreement reached during the IOI Conference in Durban, South Africa, in November last year, the office of the Slovene Ombudsman will continue to publish the Newsletter of the European Ombudsmen this year. A decision on the next publisher will be taken at the EOI meeting in Switzerland in the autumn of this year. Thanks to all colleagues who have sent contributions for this issue. The deadline for the next issue is 31 May 2001.
