- Solemn Meeting of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania on the Occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms on the invitation of the Chairman of the Seimas Human Rights Committee, Vilnius, 21 November;
- a visit of the Deputy Ombudsman to the Polish UN Troops (UNIFIL and UNDOF) operating in Syria, Lebanon and Israel; a meeting with Justice Eliezer Goldberg, State Comptroller and Commissioner for Complaints from Public held in Jerusalem, 23 November - 3 December;
- Ombudsman of Poland continues his co-operation with Ombudspersons from Lithuania, Ukraine and Russia aimed at the acquaintance with problems on the border crossing points - common visiting of particular border checkpoints.

- the European Conference "All different, all equal: from principle to practice", Strasbourg, 11-13 October;
- international conference of "Inclusion International" - organisation acting for the equal rights of disabled people in democratic societies, Budapest, 13-16 October;
- a training for the regional representatives and the staff of the Ombudsman Office in Uzbekistan organized by OSCE ODHIR, Uzbekistan 13-17 December.

- a delegation of penitentiary experts from Kazakhstan on the invitation of OSCE ODIHR, Polish Association of Legal Education and Polish Penitentiary Service, 3 October;
- a visit of the members of foundation "The Social Welfare & Medical Service Corporation" from Japan focused on the protection of the rights of children, 10 October;
- a delegation of the Seimas Ombudsman from the Republic of Lithuania: Mrs Leonarda Kuodiené (the Head of the Institution) and Mrs. Zita Zamžickiernné, (Ombudsperson) - the official visit held from 12 to 16 November; "Cooperation Agreement Between The Commissioner For Civil Rights Protection of Poland And The Seimas Ombudsmen's Office of The Republic of Lithuania" was signed on 15 November 2000.
